So often on this site and other places when asked about either the causes or consequences of global warming people bring up the ozone hole and CFCs. Either they state that it is a cause of global warming or is a result, neither of which is true. Or something to the effect of global warming leading to more UV rays, also not true. Why is there so much confusion over this?

Global warming has become a popular topic of conversation, almost a household word these days. Do you think that people are really starting to understand the connection between the cars they drive and the power they use and the changes we are starting to experience in our weather, or do you think people will just use it as an excuse to complain about the weather and high gas prices and the government and not change their lifestyles?

Specifically which group has most benefited financially from global warming.
Decent answers but not yet what was asked for which is a specific group of companies in a specific industry that has reaped profits up to 10 times their normal ones from their secret support and direction of the scam.

If global warming was a partial scam can you imagine how much money would be lost from certain corporations and govt? A man in florida about two years ago or so invented a converter type thing for gasoline motors in which an ounce of water would run a car a 100 miles. I thought to myself someboby gonna knock that guy off.I heard later he had been murdered. Now he is dead and so do you hear anything from our govt about running car engines on water? You do hear though is a global tax and there is a Cap Trade bill thats suspose to pop up in January. A good idea would be to put subway systems where permitable but there isn’t enough money cause it ’s being spent on chasing oil in the middle east.The govt. could spend money on windmills,solar panels,tax cuts and tell the people that with these tax cuts you spend the difference on energy saving products.If cars ran on water could you imagine how much that would clean whatever.
I feel what needs to be addressed is the cutting down of forrests because of overpopulation.Europe,U.S.A,Canada have lowered their birth rates but we still get ragged on.Third world countries need to do their part.Don’t you know the NWO wants to reduce the worlds pop by 95%?

Firstly is the hole in the ozone layer expanding or shrinking? and also, would Global Warming still be happening if the hole was shrinking? Are they directly linked?

I was reading about rock dust being used in Permaculture, it made me wonder how much is global warming down to the heat given off by volcanoes?

It would also explain why they keep denying the existence of Global Warming even as the weather keeps getting weirder.
